Matthew Wilson is a labour arbitrator with a broad practice in labour, employment, and sports-related disputes.

Matthew is the Chair of the Ontario Grievance Settlement Board after previously serving as the Alternate Chair (and Vice-Chair) at the Ontario Labour Relations Board. He is also on the Ministry of Labour’s list of approved grievance arbitrators.

Matthew has developed a national sports dispute resolution practice in both professional and amateur levels. He is the listed arbitrator in several collective agreements for both men’s and women’s professional sports. He has also been an arbitrator with the Sports Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada since 2017.

Matthew is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Labour Management Arbitrators’ Association, and the National Academy of Arbitrators.
